Dans chaque correspondance, il y avait des histoires entières en dehors du cadre limité de la carte postale elle-même. Par exemple, une amie avait écrit sur une trop grande partie de la carte, ne laissant pas de place pour l’adresse, et avait donc besoin d’une nouvelle carte. Lorsqu’elle a dû expliquer à l’employé du magasin ce qui s’était passé et ce qu’elle faisait pour ce livre, l’employé lui a simplement donné une nouvelle carte – sans frais !
With each correspondence, there were whole stories outside the limited scope of the postcard itself. In one case, a dear friend had written over too much of the card, leaving no room for the address, and therefore needed a new one. When she explained to the clerk at the store what had happened, and what she was doing for this book, the clerk just gave her a new card – no charge!
